Fender is looking to Star Power to Sell Guitars

So, either, you love are a Fender fan or a Gibson fan, but you almost are never both. And if you know what I am talking about, then you probably also know that the recession and new technologies has threatened the bottom line of both companies.

Here is a cool video about the use of star power in Fender’s marketing strategy to sell guitars. This shows Fender knows exactly what makes a young musician buy – when the fan boy/girl crush uses a certain brand, the young musician will covet the same brand.

Fender is the world’s largest manufacturer of guitars. But the recession, inexpensive manufacturers and the shift toward synthesizers and drum machines have threatened Fender’s profit margins.
